St. Dominic Leaflet

This is the Saint Dominic print of which I spoke in the previous post.

Not been able to find anything like it online--can only assume it was printed on a basic press and probably sold at the ports to folks emigrating to the U.S. way back then.

I like the little baroque flourishes at the corners--especially the way they are just slashed with unregistered color. St. Dominic is known as a special protector against snakes--hence the snakes in the background. The horse and baby? As yet can't find anything about them in St. Dominic lore.
